After 6 years on a deserted island, Natalie is rescued with her companion, a large piece of driftwood named Stick. But when Stick (rebranded STIX) becomes a media darling back in LA, Natalie has to learn how to survive all over again. Stix is more than just a comedy, it is a deeply relevant piece of social satire which explores movement, survival, and our misplaced worship of celebrities.

Ms. Pease is a queer southern comedy writer from Atlanta, Georgia. She holds an MFA in Writing for the Screen and Stage from Northwestern and Bachelor's degrees in Public Relations and Theatre from the University of Georgia. Her feature length dramedy Can I Finish? won second place for the Krevoy Screenwriting Award.

Helming the project is director Susan E. Bowen. Since moving to Chicago eight years ago, Susan has directed and/or assistant directed at companies such as Jackalope Theatre, Lookingglass Theatre, A Red Orchid Theatre, and American Theater Company, among others. Most recently, Susan directed a remake of Lope De Vega's Fuente Ovejuna, which she coadapted with playwright Kori Alston at Northwestern University, where graduated with an MFA n Directing.

The show stars Nina O'Keefe (Chicago PD, The Other Place), Thomas Stilwell (The Drowsy Chaperone, A Midsummer Night's Dream ), Evan Reiser (Sweetee, Black Magic), and Marin Nass (Venus In Fur, Agamemnon).
