MoMA to Honor Quentin Tarantino at 5th Annual Film Benefit

Director Quentin Tarantino will be honored at New York City's Museum of Modern Art's 5th annual Film Benefit December 3rd. Tables for the benefit, which will be held on Dec. 3, are available for $25,000, $50,000 and $75,000, with proceeds raising funds for the film collection at MoMA. 

"As a celebrated auteur director, Tarantino has leveraged his deep knowledge of cinema history to engage, entertain, and inform a new generation of movie fans," said Rajendra Roy, Chief Curator of Film at MoMA. "Honoring him is a small way to pay homage to the important service he has done to propel and promote the art form."

MoMA’s film collection includes several of Tarantino's films, including Reservoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction, Jackie Brown and Kill Bill Vol. 1 & 2. 

Tarantino received an Academy Award for best original screenplay for Pulp Fiction. His other directorial film credits include Inglourious Basterds, Reservoir Dogs, Jackie Brown and the Kill Bill movies. Tarantino's latest film, Django Unchained, is set to be released by The Weinstein Company on December 25th.
