Paul Capsis, the cabaret singer who appears in Spiegelworld's Absinthe, will be leaving the show for an unspecified time due to a family emergency.  Performing in his place beginning Thursday, July 26 will be Meow Meow, described in press notes as "the sensation of the Highline Festival."

Absinthe, according to the Spiegelworld website, is "A night time saunter through the strangest, most sultry circus in town. Absinthe collides fair ground attraction with torch song and spectacle within the elegant, sumptuous surrounds of this exceptional venue."

Absinthe runs July 3rd through September 30th at the The Spiegeltent at the Fulton Fish Mark at Pier 17.  The Spiegeltent is "an opulent venue of canvas, cut glass, teak, mirrors, billowing velvet and brocade overlooking one of the most breathtaking views of the city."
