ENO's smash hit production of the original 'New York, New York' musical ON THE TOWN, which is playing to standing-room-only capacity at the London Coliseum, has just added 3 extra performances. To help meet the unprecedented demand for tickets, the production will now play extra performances on: FRIDAY MAY 27 at 7.30PM and SATURDAY MAY 28 at 2.30PM & 7.30PM. No further extension is possible. Tickets are now on sale.

"The multi-talented Jude Kelly has turned Leonard Bernstein's musical ON THE TOWN into A HELLUVA HIT for English National Opera. The first-night audience went wild. The ravishing song 'We'll Catch Up Some Other Time' - a hint of where Sondheim learnt everything he knows – is alone worth the price of admission."

Anthony Holden, The Observer

With music by Leonard Bernstein (West Side Story, Candide), book and lyrics by Betty Comden and Adolph Green (screenwriters of Singin' in the Rain) and based on an idea by Jerome Robbins, ON THE TOWN is set in 1940s New York. 3 sailors on shore leave (Adam Garcia, Tim Howar and Aaron Lazar) embark on the biggest adventure of their lives with just 24 hours to find fun and romance in the world's most exciting city.
