The Guthrie has unveiled the schedule and ticket information for world premiere musical Little House on the Prairie, to begin preview performances July 26; officially opening August 15 through October 5 at McGuire Proscenium Stage.

Little House on the Prairie, the new musical based on the beloved "Little House" books by Laura Ingalls Wilder, will be directed by internationally recognized opera and theater director Francesca Zambello.
Single tickets will be priced from $29 to $75 and go on sale Friday, June 27 through the Guthrie Box Office at 612.377.2224, toll-free 877.44.STAGE and online. Little House on the Prairie, with lyrics by Donna di Novelli, music by Rachel Portman and book by Rachel Sheinkin, has been in development and the Guthrie relationship provides the artistic resources to bring the production to the stage.
The artistic team for Little House on the Prairie also includes set designer Adrianne Lobel, costume designer Jess Goldstein, lighting designer Mark McCullough, sound designer Scott W. Edwards, choreographer Michele Lynch and musical director Mary-Mitchell Campbell. Little House on the Prairie is being produced at the Guthrie by special arrangement with Global Prairie Productions, Inc.
