The Broadway and concert star will perform "An Evening with Linda Eder" Saturday, March 31 2007 at 8pm at the Bergen PAC (30 North Van Brunt Street) in Englewood, NJ.

"Linda Eder, singer and Broadway star, was perhaps the most popular new interpreter of theatrical songs to emerge during the '90s. Inspired by Judy Garland and Barbra Streisand from an early age, Eder gradually forged her own vocal style, recording seven albums between 1994 and 2004 where she branched out from show tunes with pop hits, standards, light swing, and adult contemporary ballads, each showcasing Linda's extravagant vocal gifts," state press notes.
Eder began her career with a 13-week unprecedented win on "Star Search" and went on to become a Broadway star, playing Lucy in Jekyll and Hyde.  She won a Theater World Award in 1997. This success coincided with the release of her first solo album, "It's Time."  Her CD recordings include her 2006 release "By Myself," a tribute to Judy Garland, showcasing some of the most iconic songs in the American songbook.  Her other CDs include "Gold," "Broadway My Way," "It's Time," "Storybook," "And So Much More," and "It's No Secret Anymore."

In additional to her many successful solo albums, Eder has been featured in events ranging from the Opening Ceremony of the 2002 Olympics to a Bravo Holiday Special which was released on DVD. Eder tours frequently in the United States and will be performing in London during February 2007. Among her regular concert songs are "Don't Rain on My Parade," "Vienna," and "Man of La Mancha." She also loves performing with her longtime friend and recording artist, Michael Feinstein, in shows they've developed in between their solo engagements.  She is also an animal activist and has been seen on TV in several animal-related specials. "Trail MIX," a new primetime television special she created and is hosting for Animal Planet, teams Eder with other celebrities who share her passion for horses.
