Stage and TV star Sharon Lawrence/> will headline a free staged reading of Jamie Pachino's Splitting Infinity.

Presented on January 28th at 5 PM at REDCAT (Roy and Edna Disney/CalArts Theater) in Los Angeles' Walt Disney Concert Hall, Splitting Infinity will also feature Michael Cassidy ("The O.C.") and Saul Rubinek.

Splitting Infinity "is about a Nobel Prize-winning astrophysicist who pursues evidence of God through physics, while simultaneously upsetting the balance of her relationships with her oldest and closest friend, a rabbi, and her star postdoctoral student, the son of a Christian Scientist," according to production notes on the show, which won the inaugural Scientists, Technologists, and Artists Generating Exploration (STAGE) competition.

Lawrence appeared as Velma Kelly in the Broadway revival of Chicago, as well as in the 1990 revival of Fiddler on the Roof and the 1987 revival of Cabaret. Her extensive TV credits include the role of Sylvia Costas Sipowitz on "NYPD Blue" and Maisy Gibbons on "Desperate Housewives."  Last year, she starred in Anything Goes at the Williamstown Theatre Festival.
