L & Leung Design Group to Launch Line of Handbags by Carlos Falchi

Carlos Falchi IP, owners of the Carlos Falchi trademark, is pleased to announce that L & Leung Design Group is launching a full line of contemporary handbags by renowned accessory designer and artist Carlos Falchi. The collection features Carlos Falchi's unique aesthetic, including soft leathers sourced from Brazil, exotic skin-inspired textures, snake and animal prints, metallics and bright color ways. The collection will launch at November market and be available at leading Department and Specialty stores in Spring 2014.

Carlos Falchi started his career by making hand stitched leather clothing for musicians like Patti Smith, Miles Davis, Tina Turner and Mick Jagger in the early 70s. Carlos then began designing handbags and for decades now, his much coveted bags are renowned for their luxurious patchwork designs in exotic skins. The contemporary collection draws upon Carlos Falchi's classic designs and aesthetic at contemporary
pricing.

L & Leung is embarking on a new strategy for the brand, offering a variety of leathers and textures targeting today's contemporary consumer. The full launch will be November market for Spring 2014
on-floor.

Carlos Falchi continues to operate his luxury couture line, Carlos Falchi Couture, handmade in New York City. His handbags, clutches and totes are marketed to Luxury department and specialty store retailers.
