Klea Blackhurst (A Tree Grows in Brooklyn) leads the cast of the February 26th staged reading of Jim Piazza's new play Reading Angie.

In addition, the cast features Jeffrey Grover, Joanna Rush (A Chorus Line, Asking For It), Tony Award nominee Jane Summerhays (Me and My Girl, Lend Me A Tenor), Michael Jayne Walker (Twelfth Night), and Tony nominee Walter Willison (Pippin, Grand Hotel).

As described by Mr. Piazza: "When a movie star on-the-skids agrees to the first reading of an old friend's all too revealing play, be advised: loud ego collisions; blinding narcissism; mid-life sexual innuendos; blackmail; LA bashing; Indian food; rent-stabilized tenants; one really bad Shirley Bassey joke; chairs; music stands."

Parties interested in attending the reading should e-mail readingangieproductions@gmail.com.
