King Mackerel & The Blues Are Running Come to West Bank Cafe

The Coastal Cohorts will perform their musical King Mackerel & The Blues Are Running: Songs & Stories of the Carolina Coast at the West Bank Café's Laurie Beechman Theatre on Friday and Saturday, May 18th-19th, 2018, at 7 p.m. each evening.
The shows at the West Bank will feature its co-authors and original performers as the Coastal Cohorts: Hit record producer/songwriter Don Dixon, The Red Clay Ramblers pianist Bland Simpson, and Pump Boys & Dinettes principal author/composer/lyricist Jim Wann.
Dixon, Simpson & Wann have run King Mackerel across North Carolina, Virginia and everywhere from the lighthouse at Tybee Island, Georgia, to the Martha's Vineyard Playhouse, including a popular summer run at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C.
