She received a TONY Award nomination for playing multiple roles in Tony Kushner's ANGELS IN AMERICA.

In 2010, Ms. Chalfant will be appearing in two new Off-Broadway plays: Beth Henley's FAMILY WEEK with Rosemarie Dewitt, directed by Jonathan Demme, and PROPHECY, written and directed by Karen Malpede, with George Bartenieff, Nadjla Said, and Andre de Shields.
