Katherine Hooker will debut her latest collection of coats and jackets this October with the opening of a U.S. pop-up shop in New York City beginning October 5th. The Soho shop is located at 436 West Broadway and will run through October 14th. The shop is Hooker's only brick and mortar retail presence outside of her flagship in London's Chelsea neighborhood. Ms. Hooker will be on hand to personally consult customers on fabric, fit, and style.

The shop will stock Hooker's celebrated jackets, coats, vests, and ready-to-wear. New to the brand's collection is the Harvey Bag, a softly shaped tote made from herringbone tweed and trimmed with supple chocolate leather.

At the forefront of UK fashion for the past decade, the leading British designer is renowned for her signature tweed coats and blazers, ranging from her sculpted Hacking Jacket to her lean, elegant Opera Coat. Her line is synonymous with chic, ageless style, having an old-world quality with a contemporary edge.

Hooker combines tradition with flair. Passionate about fine fabrics, she uses Shetland lambswool, pure cashmere, and Harris Tweed from far-flung corners of Scotland. The results speak for themselves; her pieces are elegant, luxurious, and infinitely wearable. But also, they are fresh, sharp, and modern with exquisite attention to detail in their whimsical trims, buttons, and linings.

What singles out Katherine Hooker's creations is the clever cut.  Long and lean with narrow shoulders and properly fitted under the armpits, they are designed to make all women look and feel fabulous. Offered in semi-bespoke Made to Measure tailoring as well as her Ready To Wear line, Katherine Hooker's outerwear and dresses are both functional and fantastically flattering.

Her tenth Autumn/Winter collection includes the elegantly fitted three-quarter length Franklin Coat and the sleek and modern collarless Tallulah Coat. Taking its inspiration from the Spanish Civil War, the Westcott jacket makes a statement with its oversized pockets, while the Cain jacket is smart, neat, and classic. The fluid Cape Coat is innovative and fun, and the sexy, cropped Daisy jacket blends classic English heritage with city-sharp style.

The Duchess of Cambridge is a client and it's little wonder that Pippa Middleton, The Countess of Wessex, Jerry Hall, Yoko Ono, Meryl Streep, Blythe Danner, Zoe Saldana and Jemma Kidd are also customers.
