KINKY BOOTS Takes Over Penn Station

The savvy and smart marketing minds behind 2013 Best Musical Tony Award winner KINKY BOOTS have New Yorkers who happen to be traversing legendary transportation landmark Penn Station walking a new way this week with the unveiling of an attention-grabbing new promotional ad adorning an entire flight of well-worn stairs in the particularly well-populated venue.

Proclaiming "KINKY BOOTS - WINNER! Best Musical 2013 Tony Awards" the new ad is sure to grab a few new eyes with its ample presentation space afforded at the foot-traffic-heavy locale, especially with the podiatric connection implicit in the quirky and quite ingenious new marketing move.

Indeed, Penn Station just a got a little bit kinkier!

The official description of Kinky Boots is as follows: "Charlie Price (Tony nominee Stark Sands) has suddenly inherited his father's shoe factory, which is on the verge of bankruptcy. Trying to live up to his father's legacy and save his family business, Charlie finds inspiration in the form of Lola (Tony winner Billy Porter). A fabulous entertainer in need of some sturdy stilettos, Lola turns out to be the one person who can help Charlie become the man he's meant to be. As they work to turn the factory around, this unlikely pair finds that they have more in common than they ever dreamed possible... and discovers that when you change your mind about someone, you can change your whole world.
