Julia Mattison et al Set For Beechman's FIREWORKS MALFUNTION-GANZA, 7/3
Fresh off the heels of her sold-out Violent Holiday Extravaganza and Sexy Valentines Day Massacre, Julia Mattison will be joined by her Godspell friends once again for A 4th Of July Fireworks Malfunction-ganza! Featuring a collection of brand new twisted comedy rock 4th of July tunes, the concert will bring the love and laughter to the Laurie Beechman Theatre on Tuesday July 3rd at 11pm. Expect to hear songs with titles like "The King Of Fireworks", “If I Were President”, and “My Love For You (Is Thomas Paine-ful)”.
Set to perform alongside Mattison are members of her Godspell family, including Nick Blaemire (Cry-Baby, Dogfight), Hannah Elless (Mamma Mia!), Celisse Henderson (Wicked), Eric Michael Krop (Rated RSO), Corey Mach (Wicked), and George Salazar (Spring Awakening), as well as Quinn Marcus and Dana Vincent. More guests are set to appear, as well as some special surprises.
The band will be Michael Aarons, Thad DeBrock, Sean Driscoll, Shannon Ford, and Sean Mahoney.
This will be Mattison’s newest comedy rock show following her Violent Holiday Extravaganza, Sexy Valentines Day Massacre and Human Centipede: The Musical! which played at The Pit last June and was featured in Entertainment Weekly, New York Magazine, Huffington Post, and more, after becoming a viral hit on Youtube.
