The Smith Center for the Performing Arts has announced a new, diverse batch of artists set to play its intimate club venue, Myron's, in the coming months.


The Lon Bronson Band

July 24 at 7 p.m.

Emmy-nominated Lon Bronson and his iconic 14-piece horn infused funk, rock and soul band return to The Smith Center with a new round of classic horn band favorites.

Michael Grimm

August 4, October 29 & December 1 at 7 p.m.

Known for his soulful and bluesy voice, award-winning artist Michael Grimm performs a variety of musical styles with grace and Southern charm.

The Family Stone

August 8 at 5 & 8 p.m.

Saxophonist Jerry Martini – a founding member of Sly & The Family Stone and a Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee – along with vocalist Phunne Stone, the multitalented daughter of late greats Sly Stone and Cynthina Robinson; vocalist Swang Stewart; guitarist Nate Wingfield; keyboardist Jimmy McKinney; drummer Frank Klepacki; and bassist Blaise Sison will present an explosive set of Sly & The Family Stone's classic psychedelic-funk hits of the '60s and '70s.

Saxophonist Mindi Abair has garnered two Grammy nominations, recorded with some of the biggest names in music and built a substantial following with her soaring melodies and powerhouse style. Expect a supercharged night of contemporary jazz and blues, and come early for the intimate pre-show Wine and Jazz Tasting hosted by Abair and her wine-expert husband, Eric Guerra, featuring a tasting of three of their company's wines paired with Abair's live music (prior to the 5 p.m. show only, $30 add-on).

Las Vegas showman Frankie Moreno, who has reached the top spot on the iTunes singles charts a record-setting 108 times, returns to the stage at Myron's for another round of his genre-blurring rock 'n' roll energy.

Yuko Mabuchi Trio

Blending a classical foundation with jazz improvisation and vibrant Caribbean and Latin influences, Yuko Mabuchi has crafted a stunning, genre-defying sound. Whether performing in an intimate setting or on a grand festival stage, her music leaves a lasting impression, marked by emotional authenticity, artistry and inspiration.

Fire on High: A Tribute to the Music of ELO, featuring Brody Dolyniuk

August 22 at 6 & 8:30 p.m.

Vegas favorite Brody Dolyniuk returns to Myron's with a brand new show: Fire on High, a musical celebration of Jeff Lynne and Electric Light Orchestra. Dolyniuk and his world-class band will perform hits like “Don't Bring Me Down,” “Mr. Blue Sky,” “Evil Woman” and many more during a set packed with timeless classics.

Bruce Harper Big Band with Naomi Mauro: Summer Nights

August 25 at 7 p.m.

Prolific recording artist Bruce Harper and world-class jazz vocalist Naomi Mauro will play their most-requested songs – numbers by Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughan, Keely Smith and more, backed by a talented 17-piece band of Las Vegas musicians. This high-energy show will also highlight acclaimed composer Allen Imbach.

Soul Fusion

August 27 at 7 p.m.

Las Vegas' celebrated Soul Fusion pays tribute to R&B legend Stevie Wonder. Featuring the all-star vocals of Alli Starr, Marlena Johnson, Fletch Walcott and special guest Bo Barrington, backed by a virtuoso group of instrumentalists, this set will travel back to a time when “Sir Duke,” “Superstition” and “You Are the Sunshine of My Love” ruled the airwaves.

An English guitarist known for composing, arranging and performing multiple parts simultaneously on a single instrument, Mike Dawes is an is regarded as one of the world's most creative modern fingerstyle players, with a repertoire spanning original viral videos and popular arrangements.
