Continuing The Spring Season at Birdland, Jim Caruso and TheaterMania.com will present composer/pianist Jim Brickman in two intimate concerts on March 20 and 21 at 7pm.

The series features top Broadway performers and songwriters at the legendary music room located at 315 West 44th Street in New York City.

"Jim Brickman has already established a solid reputation as America's most popular romantic piano artist with the enormous success of the popular song hits he has composed himself, like 'Valentine,' 'The Gift,' 'Love of My Life,' 'Simple Things' and 'Peace.' But in his recent concerts, the charismatic piano sensation has added a magical new dimension to his repertoire with selections from The Disney Songbook, his latest CD from Walt Disney Records. This exciting collaboration between Brickman and Disney not only created fresh interpretations of favorite songs from classic Disney animated films, but a brand new Brickman hit song, 'Beautiful,' inspired by one of the most-loved Walt Disney films, Cinderella. Brickman's musical career has had many highlights since he first burst on the entertainment scene a decade ago, becoming a multi-million selling musical artist and making his mark on radio, stage, and television," according to press notes.

Birdland has been a world-class music room on the Manhattan nightclub scene since 1949. Jazz superstars Sarah Vaughan, Count Basie, Dinah Washington, and more recently Diana Krall, John Pizzarelli and Tito Puente have all performed on the Birdland stage. The room offers top-flight music in a world-class setting, good sight lines and acoustics, and a menu featuring award-winning Southern cuisine. Most recently, it's become the home of Jim Caruso's Cast Party, the weekly Monday late night showbiz gathering featuring impromptu performances by the Broadway, jazz and nightclub crème de la crème.

Admission is $40 plus a $10 food/drink minimum. For reservations, call 212-581-3080 or visit www.InstantSeats.com/Birdland.
