Jerry Greenberg, the Manhattan-based singer/songwriter, will present "Parody Tonight," a lighthearted musical satire which lampoons an array of people and events -- from the world of contemporary politics to entertainment -- at Danny's on November 27-30 at 7 PM.

The subjects will range from Hillary Clinton, Mel Gibson and Paris Hilton to Iraq, North Korea and Same-Sex Marriage.  Greenberg has appeared at The Plaza, the Rainbow Room, Maxim's and other New York night spots.

The show will include parodies of Broadway and other standards, including songs by Stephen Sondheim, Cole Porter, Irving Berlin, Richard Rodgers and Jerome Kern.

Greenberg is a past participant of the musical theater programs at both ASCAP and BMI.  In addition to his political parody show, he has written a children's Christmas musical, a song cycle of poems by American poets called "I Hear America Singing" and a musical based on the opera Carmen.

Jerry Greenberg will appear at Danny's Skylight Room (346 West 46th Street) on November 27, 28, 29 & 30 at 7 PM.  The cover is $15 with a $12 minimum for food & drink.  For reservations call (212) 265-8133.
