The May issue of Jazz Inside NY Magazine is available free in print and as a downloadable digital edition is designed for jazz lovers worldwide and features pianist Geri Allen. Geri discusses her new recording Flowing Toward The Sound on Motema Music as well as providing insights into her activities and perspective on education, motherhood and more.

This issue features the Drum Lovers Celebration. Readers will get up close and personal and inside the music and the minds of Peter Erskine, Billy Cobham, and more. Additional artist interviews in the May issue of Jazz Inside's monthly include trumpeter Arturo Sandoval, saxophonist Mitch Marcus, and pianist / composer Bill Gerhardt.

In a new column entitled, "Deeper Perspectives," Jazz Inside Magazine's May 2010 issue features the character theme of Self-Discipline - gathering the perspectives of a number of artists on the quality and its role and impact in personal life and creative endeavors. The CD Spotlight section highlights releases by Eddie Allen, Geri Allen, and more.
