Jane Fonda, Victoria Clark, Christine Ebersole and More To Apprear In Collegiate Chorale's GRAPES OF WRATH

The Collegiate Chorale announced part of its 2009-2010 season will include include a vocal performance of THE GRAPES OF WRATH featuring Victoria Clark, Christine Ebersole, Jane Fonda, and Nathan Gunn.

In this two-act concert version of Ricky Ian Gordon and Michael Korie's production Jane Fonda will play the Narrator; Nathan Gunn, Tom Joad; Victoria Clark, Ma Joad; Elizabeth Futral, Rosasharn; Anthony Dean Griffey, Jim Casy; Peter Halverson, Pa Joad; Stephen Powell, Uncle John; Andrew Wilkowske, Noah; Steven Pasquale, Al; Christine Ebersole, Mae/Waitress; Matthew Worth, Ragged Man/Connie Rivers/Truck Driver; and Madeline Gunn, Ruthie.

They will be accompanied by The American Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Ted Sperling.

The concert, set for March 22, 2010 at Carnegie Hall and will is directed by Eric Simonson and will also feature Elizabeth Futral, Anthony Dean Griffey, Peter Halverson, Steven Pasquale, Stephen Powell, Andrew Wilkowske and Matthew Worth. Additionally, the role of Tom Joad's young daughter, Ruthie, will be sung by Gunn's daughter, Madeline Gunn.

The Chorale will also be featured in The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring (October 9-10, 2009), in a production that brings Howard Shore's Grammy and Academy Award-winning score of the film to life.  They will also perform in 'A Jubilant Song,' a gala fundraising evening on December 1, 2009 at Carnegie Hall, to be hosted by Roger Rees.
