JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR, THE WIZARD OF OZ & LOVE NEVER DIES to Broadway? CATS Back to London? There's lots of news (and potential news) for Andrew Lloyd Webber fans on both sides of the pond this morning, with news reports coming out of both Variety and the UK Express.

Variety reveals the news that Andrew Lloyd Webber's Really Useful Company will split into 2 divisions in 2013, one to oversee Lloyd Webber's seven West End theaters that he owns or co-owns, and the other to manage his brand and body of work. Also in the article though is news that the next planned West End production of his shows will be a 2013 revival of CATS, co-produced with Cameron Mackintosh

CATS opened in the West End in 1981 and on Broadway in 1982, running for 21 years in London and 18 in New York, directed by Trevor Nunn, choreographed by Gillian Lynne and winning numerous theatrical awards.

Variety also notes that "He and Lloyd Webber are also enthusiastic about Des McAnuff's production of "Jesus Christ Superstar" at the Stratford Festival in Ontario: "We're looking for Broadway slots and also talking about an arena tour," Wordsworth says."

In addition, Webber told the UK Express that "After the news that Love Never Dies in the West End will be closing this August, Andrew Lloyd Webber says he's taking his most recent musicals over to Broadway. 'I'm going to bring Wizard Of Oz and Love Never Dies here,' Lord Lloyd-Webber, 63, tells Day & Night in New York. 'If they're good, the audience likes them, if they aren't good, they don't. It's the same all over the world.'"

Already confirmed for the Spring of 2012 is a revival of EVITA starring Elena Roger and Ricky Martin. No official timelines have yet to be revealed for JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR (which runs in Stratford through late October 2011), THE WIZARD OF OZ (running now in London, starring Michael Crawford and Danielle Hope) or LOVE NEVER DIES (whose new Australia production is said to be very successful).

At the heart of the Really Useful Group's business are the musicals of Andrew Lloyd Webber, including Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Jesus Christ Superstar, Evita, Song and Dance, Starlight Express, The Phantom of the Opera, Love Never Dies, Aspects of Love, Sunset Boulevard, By Jeeves, Whistle Down the Wind, The Beautiful Game, The Woman In White and The Wizard of Oz. In addition to his own musicals however, Andrew's productions also included A R Rahman's Bombay Dreams in London and New York and the recent production of the Rodgers and Hammerstein classic The Sound of Music at the London Palladium, and in Toronto, Canada.
