The Board of Trustees of the International Center of Photography announced today that Executive Director Mark Robbins will leave the organization on November 15. The search for a successor is actively underway.

"On behalf of the board, we thank Mark for his service to ICP, and wish him the best in his new endeavor," said Jeffrey A. Rosen, President of the ICP Board of Trustees. "We have a strong team that has been instrumental in positioning ICP as a leader in our industry and around the world. While we search for a new Executive Director, we will continue to draw on the talent we have at the helm of this organization."

"It has been an honor to lead ICP and to help articulate a vision for its future. As a museum, a school and an archive, ICP has changed our understanding of the history and meaning of photography, while expanding the discourse on what it will become. I am grateful to have had the opportunity to work with ICP's gifted staff and visionary board to sustain the singular legacy of the institution during this time of evolution and change. I look forward to watching the next phase unfold for ICP," Robbins said.
