I ALMOST DIED FOR THIS?! To Play Edinburgh Festival Fringe
The one-woman show plays Edinburgh Festival Fringe, exploring the cost of compliance and good-girl myths
Kristina Libby will present her solo show I ALMOST DIED FOR THIS?! at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, with performances scheduled at The SpaceUK On the Mile.
The production follows Libby’s personal story, tracing her experience navigating expectations around relationships and identity, culminating in a series of life-altering events, including a traumatic brain injury and near-death experience. The show examines themes of societal expectations, personal agency, and self-definition.
Libby, a Moth StorySlam winner and NYC United Solo Festival Best Storytelling Show recipient, has also been recognized for her work as a writer and artist, including the Floral Heart Project, a public art initiative launched during the pandemic.
The production is directed by Padraic Lillis.
Performances
I ALMOST DIED FOR THIS?! will run August 7–22 at 11:20 a.m. and August 24–29 at 6:30 p.m. at The SpaceUK On the Mile, located at the Radisson Blu Hotel on High Street in Edinburgh. The performance runs approximately 60 minutes.
