Tony Award-winner Cady Huffman (The Producers, The Will Rogers Follies), Elizabeth Stanley (Company, Cry-Baby), and Celina Carvajal (Cats, 42nd Street, Dracula, Tarzan) are set to appear in the special one-night only performance of Hey, You Know What Movie Would Make a Good Musical? being presented by New York Theatre Barn on Monday, April 6th at the Julia Miles Theatre.

Seen any good movies on Broadway lately? Telling your own story in the theater is near impossible these days when practically every new Broadway musical is based on a blockbuster film. So if you can't beat 'em...join 'em!

Conceived by Ryan Bogner, with book by Robert Bastron, lyrics by Ryan Bogner and Mishaela Faucher, and music by Jason Michael Snow, this original musical is a satirical story of three writers who adapt some of Hollywood's biggest hits into Broadway musicals. With wit, charm, and original songs, Hey, You Know What Movie Would Make a Good Musical? is a hilarious new look at the current state of the Broadway musical.

Appearing alongside Huffman, Stanley, and Carvajal on April 6th are Maurice Murphy (Spelling Bee on Broadway), Douglas Goodhart, and show creators Ryan Bogner, Mishaela Faucher, and Jason Michael Snow.

The one-night event will feature direction by Travis Greisler and Austin Regan, choreography by Mishaela Faucher, and musical direction by Christopher D. Littlefield.

The Julia Miles Theatre is located at 424 West 55th Street. The show begins at 7:30pm, and tickets are $20 and can be purchased at the door, or in advance online at www.TheaterMania.com.

New York Theatre Barn is not-for-profit theatre company dedicated to the investigation, development and advancement of new works.
