"Siren's Den," a new rock musical, will be featured at the NYNW Theatre Festival on September 13th at 7pm, at the Elektra Theater.
The show was previously seen at the West Village Musical Theater Festival and Under St. Mark's. It is a cautionary tale about the blindness of love, the price of fame, and the healing powers of music.
Siren's Den is a dark, modern twist on the myth of the ancient Greek sirens who lured sailors to their deaths with their songs. Here, the turbulent sea is the music industry, and the siren is Skylar Cole, a seductive indie rock singer in NYC.

Skylar's biggest fan is Remy Morgan, a young, aspiring singer who finds that her songwriting is fueled by her time spent with Skylar.

Soon, Remy finds herself drawn into a world of drugs, lust and empty promises, where some idols don't deserve pedestals and some dreams come with dire consequences.

Will Remy find success? Or will she fall prey to Skylar's siren song forever?

The production will star creator Rori Nogee (book/music/lyrics) as Remy, and will also feature Marlain Angelides*, Chris Gleim*, Adam Kaster*, Samantha Kahn, Tyler Dean, Megan Campbell, Marcus Desion, Musa Hitomi, Philip McLeod, Benjamin Rowan and Natalie Wagner.

The creative team includes Marishka Phillips (Director), Ricky Romano (Musical Director), William Bailey (Choreographer). Nicole Hamilton (Stage Manager), James Prez Carter (Lighting Designer), Matthew Schectman (Videographer), and features arrangements by Frank Perri and Jaden Nogee.
