Hauser & Wirth Opens AMERICAN MASTERWORKS Exhibit Today

For Art Basel Miami Beach 2015, Hauser & Wirth is pleased to present 'AMERICAN MASTERWORKS', a spotlight on the gallery's American artists and estates, featuring works by the late giants Louise Bourgeois, Philip Guston, Mike Kelley, and David Smith. Each of these visionaries occupies a significant place in the narrative of modern and contemporary art.

The intrinsically exploratory approaches and profound innovations of Bourgeois, Guston, Kelley, and Smith have informed the practices of many Hauser & Wirth artists. New and recent works from Mark Bradford, Roni Horn, and Paul McCarthy will also feature in the gallery's stand (Booth L17) at the fair, evidencing the continuing potency of American tendencies and traditions in the art of our time.
