Gurland, Pazakis, Etc. Set for 'Standards' & 'Originals'

The Daryl Roth Theatre has announced a new musical series which will take place at The D-Lounge, the cabaret entity of the Daryl Roth theatre complex. On Tuesdays, August 15th and 29th, some of New York's most esteemed cabaret performers will come together for "The Standards" and "The Originals," respectively, as part of Coffee House.
 
"A new series at the D-Lounge, Coffee House will present a variety of evenings with different themes, featuring casts of eclectic artists," according to press notes. "The Standards" features a collection of music from the Great American Songbook – including Gershwin, Porter, Kern, Berlin, Rogers and Hammerstein, etc.  The cast includes Lisa Asher, Bobby Belfry, Nick Cearley, Mychelle Colleary, Brandon Cutrell, Baby Jane Dexter, David Gurland, Karen Kohler, Karen Mack, Julie Reyburn, Ricky Ritzel and Marcus Simeone.

"The Originals" features new music from some of New York's exciting new composers. Included in the cast are Lisa Asher, Bobby Belfry, Nick Cearley, Mychelle Colleary, Brandon Cutrell, Baby Jane Dexter, Suzanne Fiore, Mark Kessler, Karen Mack, Kate Pazakis, Julie Reyburn, Jay Rogers and Marcus Simeone, all celebrating new music.
