Gotham Burlesque Comes To The Triad Theater

The October edition of GOTHAM BURLESQUE, taking place tonight at 10PM at the Triad Theater will star a number of Coney Island's most celebrated and versatile performers including The World's Fastest and Most Accurate Knife-Thrower THE GREAT THROWDINI, the Queen of Coney Island BAMBI THE MERMAID, The Twisted Shockmeister Scott Baker, Contortionist HARVEST MOON, Fire-Eater BRIAN FISHERMAN and Burlesque Star VERONICA VARLOW. GOTHAM BURLESQUE is hosted by WORLD FAMOUS *BOB*.

Presented by award-winning filmmaker, artist, and producer Gary Beeber, GOTHAM BURLESQUE is an exciting evening of song, dance, tricks and visual treats that plays the first Saturday of each month with a different cast at the intimate Upper West Side venue, offering audiences a taste of a wide range of live entertainments from both established and up and coming performers and acts.

Joining THE GREAT THROWDINI, BAMBI THE MERMAID, Scott Baker, HARVEST MOON, BRIAN FISHERMAN, VERONICA VARLOW and WORLD FAMOUS *BOB* on October 1st will be PEEKABOO POINTE, Sword-Swallower FREDINI, Contortionist EKATERINA, JUSTINA FLASH, Hula-Hoopist KRYSSY KOCKTAI, The Vibraphonist of Coney Island LEFTY LUCY (Miss Coney Island 2011), RICHIE MAGIC, and stage kitten Dangrrr Doll.

Gary Beeber is an award-winning American filmmaker whose documentaries Dirty Martini and the New Burlesque, Bally-Master, and Messenger have screened in over 50 festivals and won countless awards at the FirstGlance Film Festival, the DC Independent Film Festival, the Staten Island Film Festival, and the Coney Island Film Festival. Prior to devoting his energies to documentaries, he was a photographer and producer of art videos which were shown in 70 galleries and exhibitions worldwide, and several of his works are in corporate collections here in the city at Goldman Sachs, Pfizer Pharmaceutical, and Chase.

GOTHAM BURLESQUE will play the first Saturday of every month at the Triad Theater (158 West 72nd Street), with October's performance taking place on Saturday, October 1st at 10PM. Tickets are $45 for premium seating and $35 for general seating and can be purchased online at
