Angela Gaylor will play the winsome title role of Cinderella in the upcoming Paper Mill production of the Rodgers and Hammerstein classic, while Paolo Montalban will be seen as the dashing, many-named Prince.

Gabriel Barre (Starmites, Rags) will direct the musical, which will run from October 19th through December 4th at the esteemed theatre in Milburn, NJ.  As the Paper Mill's website describes the show, Cinderella "brings adventure, romance, and a miraculous kingdom to the stage. As the timeless fairy tale unfolds, a pumpkin turns into a golden coach, mice turn into horses, a dove becomes a footman, and a famously shabby maid sees her wildest dreams come true."

Gaylor last appeared on Broadway as Anne in La Cage aux Folles, and made her Broadway debut as a replacement in Oklahoma!  Her other credits include Best Foot Forward, A Little Night Music, Company, Dream a Little Dream and Carousel.  Montalban previously played the Prince in the national tour of Cinderella (as well as at Madison Square Garden) and in the multi-racial 1997 ABC/Disney telemusical that also starred Brandy in the title role and Whitney Houston as the Fairy Godmother.  He has performed on Broadway in the recent revival of Pacific Overtures and in The King and I.  His other theatre credits include Nine and Man of La Mancha, and he is familiar to TV viewers for having played Kung Lao in "Mortal Kombat: Conquest."

The Disney Cinderella was the second remake of the beloved 1957 television classic, which featured a book by Hammerstein.  Julie Andrews beamed as Cinderella, and it also starred Jon Cypher as the Prince, theatre couple Howard Lindsay and Dorothy Stickney as the King and Queen, Alice Ghostley and Kaye Ballard as the Stepsisters and Edie Adams as the Fairy Godmother.  The first 1965 remake would star Lesley Anne Warren as the rags-to-ballgown heroine, Stuart Damon as the Prince, Walter Pidgeon and Ginger Rogers as the King and Queen, and Celeste Holm as the Fairy Godmother.  While the musical has never been on Broadway, it's had a national tour with Deborah Gibson, Eartha Kitt and Montalban; the latter two joined Jamie-Lynn Sigler for its production at Madison Square Garden.
