Lady Gaga will be the face of Versace's spring ad campaign. WWD reported that fashion photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott photographed her in London.

The collaboration between the pop icon and Donatella Versace began in 2011, when Lady Gaga wore Versace vintage dresses for "The Edge of Glory" music video.

About Versace:

In 1978 Gianni Versace, one of the most talented fashion designers of the 20th century, presented his first collection under his own name. This marked the founding of the famous Italian fashion house.

As one of the leading fashion design brands worldwide, Versace is the epitome of sensual glamor - sexy and empowering - as well as being the symbol of Italian luxury. The company designs, manufactures, distributes and retails fashion and lifestyle products including Atelier (haute couture), prêt-à-porter, bags, shoes and accessories, jewelry, watches, eyewear, fragrances, and home furnishings all bearing the distinctive Medusa logo. Celebrities and connoisseurs adore the brand for its uncompromising design, its rich and ultra-sensual style and its impeccable craftsmanship and quality.

In 1997, after the death of her brother, Donatella Versace became Creative Director for the Versace Group. This was a natural progression for Donatella, who previously collaborated with Gianni Versace on the famous advertising campaigns for the house, working with great photographers like Richard Avedon and Bruce Weber. She had also been responsible for designing accessories and the Versus line in the late Eighties. Today Donatella Versace directs all lines and product categories for the house. She recently revamped Atelier Versace by putting it back on the agenda of Paris Haute Couture, injected fresh energy into Versus Versace by turning it into a digital brand and establishing partnerships with young designers, artists and musicians. She opened up the Versace brand to a new generation of fashionistas by collaborating with H&M and enhanced the brand's accessories offer by focusing on strong bag and shoe collections. Donatella Versace underlines the heritage elements of the house while continually modernizing and refreshing the brand's style with her creative and energetic attitude.
