GREASE SCHOOL VERSION to Open at Sutter Street Theatre
The classic musical stars Jax Espinosa, Brissa Magallanes, and Desi Roach in the Folsom production.
GREASE SCHOOL VERSION will come to Sutter Street Theatre this week. The musical features Book, Music & Lyrics by Jim Jacobs & Warren Casey, and is Directed by Crystal Mayer, with Music Direction by Christine Irish and Choreography by Keira LePage. Performances will run June 27th-July 26th, 2026.
Grease is a musical set in 1959 at Rydell High, following the summer romance between Danny Zuko and the sweet new girl Sandy Dumbrowski, who surprisingly discover they are now classmates. The story centers on their struggle to rekindle their relationship while navigating peer pressure and fitting into their respective groups, the T-Birds (Danny's greaser gang) and the Pink Ladies.
Performances will run Saturdays and Sundays at 1:00 PM; Friday, July 10 at 7:30 PM; and Saturday, July 11 at 7:30 PM. The show is rated G.
