Every Day With Helen Hunt & Liev Schreiber Released In NY And LA 1/14

By:

Image Entertainment is releasing EVERY DAY in exclusive engagements in New York (Village East Theaters) and Los Angeles on January 14, 2011. To view the trailer: http://www.trailerspy.com/trailer/12721/Every-Day-Trailer-HD

In EVERY DAY, Tony Award-winner Schreiber stars as Ned, a Brooklyn-based television writer whose life as loving husband and father is turned upside down, not by any single crisis, but by a number of little curveballs thrown at him all at once. First, his marriage to Jeannie (Oscar-winner Hunt) is subjected to strain when her sick father (Tony-winner Dennehy) moves in with them, turning Ned's normally attractive, intelligent wife into a bundle of raw nerves. Then, their teenage son, Jonah (Miller) announces he is gay, but refuses to discuss it with his somewhat surprised and stymied father. Further complications arise at work, where the hilariously vulgar producer (Izzard) of the series Ned writes insists on ramping up the show's shock quotient. Late night rewrite sessions with his cynical, sexy co-worker, Robin, (Gugino), nearly push Ned over the edge, and threaten to unravel his already frayed marriage.

Boasting exceptional performances from its distinguished ensemble cast, EVERY DAY is at once smart and wise, and both funny and touching in its depiction of how a typical family never stops loving one another, even when they don't always like each other. In an impressive feature film debut, writer/director Levine creates a candid and complex portrait of how different generations and genders grapple with - and gin strength from- the vicissitudes of life.
