All good things must come to an end, with Netflix bidding adieu to Emily in Paris after its sixth season. Currently in production in Greece, Season 6 will mark the conclusion of the rom-com series, which has been a top-viewed show for the streamer.
Led by Lily Collins, the series hails from creator Darren Star, who spoke about the cancellation of the show. "Making Emily in Paris with this extraordinary cast and crew has been the trip of a lifetime," he said in a statement.
"As we embark on the final season, I am so grateful to Netflix, Paramount, and, most importantly, the fans who have taken this incredible journey with us. We can’t wait to share this last chapter with you."
Emily in Paris follows the title character, played by Collins, an ambitious twentysomething marketing executive from Chicago, who unexpectedly lands her dream job in Paris. Her new life is filled with intoxicating adventures and surprising challenges as she juggles work, friendships, and romance.
Season 5 premiered in December 2025, with Emily now THE HEAD of the Agence Grateau Rome office. The cast of the series also includes Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu and Tony nominee Ashley Park, who frequently performed on the show. Lucas Bravo, Samuel Arnold, Bruno Gouery, William Abadie, and Lucien Laviscount round out the cast.
Since its debut in 2020, Seasons 1–5 have spent 32 weeks on the Netflix Global Top 10 list, reached #1 in 90 countries, and accumulated over 250 million views from H1 2023 to H2 2025.
