Dialogue With Three Chords Returns With Part Two Of WELCOME TO THE APOCALYPSE SURVIVORS CLUB

Dialogue with Three Chords (D3C) continue their spring season with the second installment of WELCOME TO THE APOCALYPSE SURVIVORS CLUB on Thursday, March 28, at 8pm downstairs at Von Bar on 3 Bleecker Street, New York, NY 10012. Written by Stephen Gracia and directed by Michael LoPorto, WELCOME TO THE APOCALYPSE SURVIVORS CLUB is a season long collection of short plays about alien encounters and an apocalypse that never arrived. Admission is free with a $5 suggested donation.

Now in their eighth year bringing fresh, original, independent theater to lower Manhattan, D3C's ongoing effort WELCOME TO THE APOCALYPSE SURVIVORS CLUB features three new plays that blend past productions with new work. When I Dream, I See Strange Men, a series of alien abduction monologues, has combined with parts of The Apocalypse Survivors Club, a full-length work, to produce a brand new, serialized show.

This month features: Junked Machines & Salvaged Hearts, a play about junkyards, matchmaking services, and the price our angels pay for falling in love with us. Devil Town (A Miracle Play) rolls away the rocks of an old coal mining town to reveal the harrowing hell that lies beneath it. In Who Will Deliver Me from Myself, and Let My Trembling Spirits Fly? (And is thy earth so marred, shattered in shard on shard?) , a heart becomes the end of heaven and earth and a prison for the stars.

To date, 121 original works have been written by Gracia and directed by LoPorto for D3C, which they co-founded in 2011.

The March performance of Welcome to the Apocalypse Survivors Club features: Kenny Wade Marshall Jessica Bathurst, John Caliendo, Anthony DeVito, Nicole Franz, Kenny Wade Marshall, Julie Orkis, Mickey Ryan and Tina Wong-Lu.
