Derek Murphy's New Comedy, APPENDAGE Opens Origin's 1st Irish 2016 Next Generation Series, NYC

Origin's 1st Irish 2016 in New York will be bringing to the stage APPENDAGE, a black comedy drama by New York-based Dublin-born playwright, Derek Murphy, directed by Joseph Hendel. The show will play 4 performances as part of 1st Irish's Next Generation series at Nancy Manocherian's the cell, 338 W 23rd St, New York, NY 10011 (bet 8th & 9th Aves). September 28 - October 2, 2016.

This dark, comic, psychological thriller takes place in an affluent New York suburb and tells the tale of love and retribution...on a bloody couch. The two-hander stars Christopher Randolph (King Lear, Broadway) and Tim Ruddy (Pictured above - The Weir, Irish Repertory Theater) as two very different men and begs the question, if you hit a stranger with your car, would you invite him into your house? What if you did?
