Five years ago on July 23rd, 2011, the world lost a young bright talent. Amy Winehouse was destined for eternal musical success. Her sultry voice, passionate lyrics, and edgy unapologetic flare were the perfect recipe for a modern day super star.

Winehouse was ground breaking, her 2008 album "Back To Black" earned her five Grammy Awards. She became the first British female to win three of "the big four awards" -Best New Artist, Record of The Year and Song of The Year. Sadly, her career came to a crashing halt when she lost her life to addiction at age 27 years, joining other infamous stars like Janis Joplin, Jim Morrison and Kurt Cobain.

On Thursday, July 21st, 2016, Damn The Light Productions celebrates her life, music and legacy with their new show Tears Dry On Their Own: An Amy Winehouse Experience starring Danielle Tyler.

In this unique tribute concert, her story is explored through interviews, personal accounts, multi-media and her incomparable song catalogue. Complete with a top- notch band and signature motown-esque horn section, Damn the Light once again delivers you an authentic sound and experience like no other.

Guest performances & opening acts include The Ritualists and Briana Layon & The Boys. The evening is hosted by MaryAnne Piccolo, Mike Greco, Steven Moore and Chris Ryan of AudioFuzz.com with a pop up shop by Kristina Kiss' SSIKK Designs.
