Acclaimed musical theatre performer Tami Tappan Damiano will star as the singing voice of Cinderella in Disney's "Cinderella III."

Los Angeles theatre audiences know Damiano from her many appearances on Southland stages, including her recent roles in Reprise! City of Angels and On The Town, Colony's The Grand Tour, and Never Gonna Dance and Guys and Dolls. Her next scheduled performance will be for Musical Theatre West in their current production of The Full Monty.

A native of Laurel, MD, Tami has been performing since the age of 13, from Broadway to the La Fenice Opera House in Venice. Tami has been seen on Broadway in Cyrano: the Musical, and as Ellen in Miss Saigon. Internationally, she was a soloist in The Music of Andrew Lloyd Webber starring Michael Crawford, and performed in England, Australia, and in Japan (with Sarah Brightman).

She received the 2001 Robby Award for her performance as Princess Leonide in Triumph of Love and an Ovation Award Nomination for her performance in Crazy for You at Musical Theatre West in Long Beach. Prior to this, she appeared as Stella in the Rubicon Theatre production of A Streetcar Named Desire. She also performed in a critically acclaimed production of Moving On, a Sondheim review at Laguna Playhouse. She has appeared in several television productions including "Numb3rs," "The Drew Carey Show," "Third Rock from the Sun," "The Good Doctor: The Paul Fleiss Story," and "Sunset Beach". Tami has also released a CD of her own, "Tami Tappan Damiano: Hot Notes" on LML Music.

According to press sources, "Disney's original classic continues with an all-new twist in Cinderella III: A Twist In Time, an all-new movie premiering on Disney DVD, and available for a limited time only. Featuring all the magic and wondrous spirit of Walt's original "Cinderella," this new, spellbinding story takes a daringly different turn."
