Kristin Chenoweth/>, starring in Roundabout Theatre Company's The Apple Tree, will be the lead guest on CBS's "The Late Show with David Letterman" on Friday, January 12th between 11:30-12:30AM.

The Apple Tree stars Chenoweth (Eve, Princess Barbara, Passionella), Brian d'Arcy James (Adam, Sanjar, Flip) and Marc Kudisch/> (Snake, Balladeer, Narrator) with Walter Charles/> (King Arik, Employer, Producer).  The Apple Tree, with music by Jerry Bock/>, lyrics by Sheldon Harnick/>, and book by Bock and Harnick with additional book material by Jerome Coopersmith, is directed by Gary Griffin/>.  

The Apple Tree is playing a limited engagement through Sunday, March 11th.

"From the songwriting team of She Loves Me and Fiddler on the Roof comes a unique evening of three one-act musicals about men, women and a little thing called temptation.  The Apple Tree is based on 'The Diary of Adam and Eve' by Mark Twain; 'The Lady or the Tiger?' by Frank R. Stockton; and 'Passionella' by Jules Feiffer," state press materials.
