TANDAVA ARTS has announced the return engagement of Carol Tandava Henning's BLOOD ON THE VEIL directed by Jeffrey Fiske. BLOOD ON THE VEIL will play an 8 -week limited engagement at the Write Act Repertory Theatre (309 East 26th Street, NYC 10010). Performances begin today, August 4 and continue Sunday, September 29. Opening Night is Sunday, August 4 (8 p.m.). (There is no performance on Sunday, September 1, Labor Day Weekend.)

"Blood on the Veil" is a whirlwind monologue-in-movement that combines humorous and insightful autobiographical storytelling with the mesmerizing art of bellydance. Experience the divine in this riveting one-woman show.

The production stars Carol Tandava Henning, and features guest dancers Altagracia (9/29), Cherrelle (8/18), Giselle (8/11), Jehan (8/11), Kaitlin (8/18), Katrina (9/15) , Kisha (8/4), Layla Mary (9/22), Morocco (8/25), Rayhana (8/4), Sharon Zaslaw (8/4), Zenaide (9/8)-and many others.

The production features costumes by Eman Zaki, lighting/sound design by Alex Chmaj, and Joseph Zaslaw is the stage manager.

BLOOD ON THE VEIL will play Sundays at 8 p.m. through September 29.

Tickets are $20-$30 and are now available online at www.bloodontheveil.com. Tickets may also be purchased in-person half an hour prior to performance at the theater box office.
