Cabaret Cares to feature Broadway's Carmen Ruby Floyd, Amanda McBroom, et al. 10/18
The Award winning series Cabaret Cares returns October 18th at the Laurie Beechman Theatre. Cabaret Cares is a monthly cabaret series the raises awareness and funds for Help Is On The Way Today. A non for profit that helps and assists children and young adults living with HIV and AIDS. Cabaret Cares has raised and distributed over $50,000 in the first five years.
The evening will be hosted by Emmy Award Winner and Jazz Singer Gregory Generet,and will feature performances by four fabulous ladies. Appearing on the 18th will be Broadway's Carmen Ruby Floyd, Nightlife, Bistro, MAC award winner Lorinda Lisitza, Golden Globe and Oscar nominee Amanda McBroom, and Nightlife, Bistro, and MAC Award Winner Marilyn Maye.
The doors will open at 6:15 p.m. show time is 7:00 p.m.. There is a $25 Cover Charge and $15 Food Drink minimum. To make reservations call 212-2695-6909.
