Delusional Diva Productions will present the Broadway district Premier of "CALLING AMERICA: DON'T HANG UP!!" a solo, trans-media tour-de-force centering on Society's quest for Humanity, as part of the 6 week run featuring 121 solo shows from around the world at the United Solo Theatre Festival.

"CALLING AMERICA: DON'T HANG UP!!" opens on Tuesday, Nov. 12th at 9:00p to an already SOLD-OUT HOUSE, with an additional show added on Sunday, Nov. 17th at 7:30p at THEATRE ROW, 410 W. 42nd St. New York City. "CALLING AMERICA: DON'T HANG UP", is a 90 minute exploration into America's diverse inhabitants, searching desperately for the "American Dream" as the Planet goes awry, spiraling into madness. SKY portrays a melting pot of hilarious and heart-wrenching characters from her wild double life as a non-profit telephone-fundraiser in Hollywood. SKY's real-life stories of mixing and mingling in DC with such political figures as Mitt Romney, Karl Rove, and Donald Rumsfeld... juxtaposed against her "normal", everyday exciting life of an on-the-edge artist hanging out with well-known Hollywood celebrities and practicing extreme leftist activism, makes for an engaging and inspiring event of theatre not to be missed! Through stories, songs, humor, and a whole lot of characters, Sky's always-changing comic commentary touches upon poignant and timely themes such as immigration, war, health care, gay marriage, racism, teen bullying, Humanity, Justice, politics, and the quest for The American Dream.

SKY Palkowitz, creator/performer, is the Los-Angeles based Avant-Garde Multimedia Performance Artist known universally as "The Delusional Diva", a cross of Lily Tomlin meets Penny Arcade, and mentored by avant-garde performance art maverick, Rachel Rosenthal. SKY is a classically trained Shakespearian actor, dynamic singer/songwriter, educator and character illusionist who has performed nationally in theatre, film, tv, & internet, and in hundreds of schools all over the Country for over 25 years.

Klaudia Kovacs is a multi-award winning director of theatre and film, and Hungary's most achieved documentary filmmaker. She wrote, directed, and produced Torn from the Flag, the most successful documentary in Hungarian film history. Klaudia has been awarded with the "Hero of the Freedom Fight Award" by the President of the Republic of Hungary. Her work has always been very cause-oriented, so she is excited to direct "CALLING AMERICA: DON'T HANG UP!!" which is a very powerful piece that stands for Human Rights, and explores so many important issues relating to diversity, compassion, our Nation and the Planet.
