Ben Cameron (Wicked, Aida, Footloose) is the host and creator of BROADWAY SESSIONS at THE MIDTOWN THEATRE at the HA! Comedy Club TC l4 " (163 West 46th Street / Between 6th & 7th Avenues) every Thursday night at 11:00pm. Broadway Sessions is described as an evening of musical performances, games and open mic featuring a new Broadway guest each week, and features musical director Joshua Stephen Kartes on piano. After the show we open the microphone up to anyone who wants to sing. Open mic runs from 12:00-2am.

This Thursday, Dec 1st 2011 the weekly show (now in it’s 3rd year) welcomes Lael Van Keuren, Molly Pope, Babs Rubenstein and more.

Lael Van Keuren is currently featured in Sister Act at The Broadway Theater. Off-Broadway Van Keuren has been featured in Dancing on a Dream. Molly Pope is a popular cabaret artist who will ofcfer her new one-woman show Introducing Molly Pope (feat. Musical direction by Tony nominee Kenny Mellman) at The Laurie Beechman Theater on Dec 2nd and 4th. Babs Rubenstein is a graduate of The Boston Consevatory and was recently featured in Little Shop of Horrors at The Gallery Players
Open Mic party goes til 2 am featuring Joshua Stephen Kartes on piano.

Audience members will also be treated to a special sneak preview of the upcoming Rent Holiday Christmas Pageant Extravaganza Spectacular which takes place Monday evening at New World Stages.

Broadway Sessions takes place every Thursday evening at The Midtown Theater, 163 west 46th street inside the HA! Comedy Club. Doors open at 10:40 pm with showtime at 11pm and musical theater open mic party goes til 2 am. There is NO cover charge.
