This Sunday, March 13 at 5pm, Middle Collegiate Church in the East Village will host the cabaret "Everything I Need to Know I Learned from a Woman" with Broadway's Branch Woodman (Cinderella and Priscilla, Queen of the Desert) and beloved regional theatre actress Allison Mickelson (Ragtime and Elf). Their voices will transport your hearts as we celebrate the power of women.

In celebration of Women's History Month, Woodman and Mickelson will share contemporary, Broadway, spirituals and world music, along with stories that honor the mothers, daughters, sisters, mentors and friends that impact their lives.

"Women mold us and reshape us with their wisdom, compassion and courage. This cabaret will honor the women that have paved the way for us," said The Rev. Dr. Jacqui Lewis, senior minister of Middle Collegiate Church.

Suggested admission is $20. You can get tickets at: bitly.com/I-Learned-from-a-Woman. Proceeds from the cabaret support Middle Collegiate Church's justice ministries focused on gender and LGBT, racial and economic justice. Richard Carsey will be the accompanist.
