The proceeds from the silent auction directly benefit the work TRU does to develop and nurture new producers as well as up-and-coming artists, including the TRU Voices New Musicals Reading Series, so please bid generously. Attendees at the recent TRU Love Benefit heard Howie Michael Smith sing a beautiful song "Sing to Me" from Adam Overett's My Life Is a Musical, a show that was developed through the TRU Series. Bidding on the TRU auction will help assure developmental readings of other worthy shows. Other TRU Programs include monthly panels, workshops, a Producer Development and Mentorship Program, a new plays reading series and a community e-newsletter of jobs, services, resources and theater events.
