92YTribeca will kick off the third season of Behind the Music-al with Duncan Sheik (Spring Awakening) and Larry O'Keefe (Legally Blonde and Bat Boy). In this installment of the series, learn how songwriters determine the best way to add music to an existing property. When the book already exists, how do you make it sing? How does writing music for an already known story differ from writing music for other types of stories?

Larry O'Keefe moderates an exciting evening of song and conversation with Duncan Sheik and Ewalt and Walker (Bromance: The Dudesical) as they go behind the scenes of Musical Theater writing to explore what happens when you just add music.

Behind the Music-al is an exciting behind-the-scenes look at the next generation of musical theater composers. Special guests discuss how songwriting teams collaborate, showcase exclusive new songs performed by some of Broadway's hottest young stars and dish about the back-story on your favorite musical numbers. With a cross-section of three dynamic musical theater writing teams, Behind the Music-al lets you in on the process of putting together tomorrow's next big hit.

Tickets are $15.
