Bargemusic, a venue which bills itself as "New York City's Floating Concert Hall", will present two concerts in its Thursday Night Jazz Series this May.   On May 20 at 8pm, Liz Magnes will perform on piano.  Tickets will be $35 ($30 for seniors and $20 for students). On May 27 at 8pm, The Carlos Cuevas trio, composed of Carlos Cuevas on piano, Alex Hernandez on bass, and Vince Cherico on drums, will perform.  Tickets will be $25 ($20 for seniors and $10 for students).

Bargemusic is a floating concert hall that The New York Times calls "inviting... ideally intimate... with grand views." The 102-foot long covered barge, which was once used to transport coffee, is popular with concertgoers around the world and is now one of New York City's most unusual event venues.  Located at the foot of the Brooklyn Bridge, Bargemusic began its Thursday night Jazz Series in June 2007.
