The Manhattan East School for Arts & Academics is represented in the Fidelity FutureStage program by the selected play, Through Each Line Of Pain And Glory.

Playwright Torin's emotional play, Through Each Line Of Pain And Glory gives the audience an inside look at the powerful feelings of losing a loved one. Student actors Rodney, Alondrea, Emily, Cihara and Dylan give their all to the production. The play also highlights the assistant directing work of Bryan, stage management by Rebecca and the understudies, Renee, Bryan and Sydney.

Fidelity FutureStage enables over 600 NYC students from 10 different public schools to get a real view into the world of Broadway theater. Students learn firsthand from industry professionals about acting, playwriting, directing and all the behind-the-scenes production. Over the past seven months, students have met Kathleen Marshall (GREASE!), Lin-Manuel Miranda (In The Heights), Chazz Palminteri (A Bronx Tale), Roger Bart (Young Frankenstein), Charles "Roc" Dutton (The Piano Lesson) and more. One play from each participating school was selected for the Fidelity FutureStage finale, marking an unparalleled New York theatrical debut for the students.
