Director Kati Kuroda is seeking 7 actors and actresses. Da Kine Space is a commissioned work by the author of Living Pidgin and Gone Feeshing.

The play takes place in a downtown art gallery run by a local Gen X-er named Ry. As Ry struggles with his own creative and personal life, a string of characters passes through the gallery, causing Ry (and the audience) to reexamine his views on the artistic process.

will be held at Kumu Kahua Theatre 46 Merchant Street on Saturday, September 18, 2pm-5pm, and Sunday, September 19, 6pm-9pm. The entrance into the theatre faces a park on Merchant Street. The entrance into the theatre faces a park on Merchant Street.

Rehearsals begin as early as Monday, November 1. Performances will be from January 13 through February 13, with the possibility of a week's extension. Auditioners are strongly encouraged to read the script before coming to audition. Scripts are available for loan with a $10 cash deposit at Kumu Kahua Theatre.
