Andrew Rannells to Guest-Star on HBO's GIRLS Tonight, 4/29

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Tony Award nominee Andrew Rannells will guest star on the HBO comedy, GIRLS, tonight, April 29.

The series, which debuted on April 15, 2012, is created by star Lena Dunham. According to the HBO web site the series is described as "a comic look at the assorted humiliations and rare triumphs of a group of girls in their early 20s." Dunham wrote and directed the pilot of the series, which she executive produces along with Judd Apatow and Jenni Konner. The cast also includes Jemima Kirke, Allison Williams, Adam Driver and Zosia Mamet. Episodes were shot in New York.  

Rannells is best known for his role in the Broadway hit musical 'The Book of Mormon', for which he received a Tony Award nomination as Best Actor in a Musical. His other stage credits include Hairspray and Jersey Boys.

The actor will make his guest star appearance on the HBO comedy series tonight, April 29.
