Andrew Rannells Wins 'Next Mega Star' on LOGO NEWNOWNEXT AWARDS 2013

Some of today's hottest emerging and seasoned talent in film, television, fashion and music came together at The Fonda Theatre in Hollywood, CA on April 13 for the "Logo NewNowNext Awards 2013."

Among the winners of the night was Broadway's Andrew Rannells who took home the prize for 'Next Mega-Star' for his performance on the NBC freshman comedy 'The New Normal'.

Rannells received a Tony nomination for his starring role in "The Book of Mormon" for which he also received a Grammy Award for Best Broadway Cast Album. Andrew also appeared on Broadway in "Hairspray" and "Jersey Boys," among others. He currently stars in the Golden Globe-winning HBO comedy series "Girls" and in NBC's hit comedy series "The New Normal."

Now in its sixth year, the "Logo NewNowNext Awards" have earned a reputation for breaking new ground in pop culture. The highly praised and always unpredictable telecast is one big party that grants the gay stamp of approval to pop culture icons and trendsetters as well as stars-on-the-rise and celebrates what's hot in TV, music, film and fashion for 2013 and beyond. The "Logo NewNowNext Awards 2013," hosted by Aisha Tyler, premieres Monday, April 15 at 10/9C on Logo.
