Anchorage Community Theatre Announces Casting Call for THE UNDERPANTS

Auditions for Steve Martin's The Underpants, directed by Nate Benson, are scheduled on Saturday February 27 and Sunday February 28, both days from 1 - 4 PM.

Auditions are held at ACT Studio Theatre at 1133 E. 70th (just off the Old Seward Highway between Dowling and Dimond). No preparation of material is necessary. You will be asked to read from the script of the play to be auditioned for, in dialogue with others.

There are roles for 5 men and 2 women:

Theo Maske: A burly, muscular fireplug with a buzz cut.
Louise Maske: Very pretty, mid-20s. Theo's wife.
Gertrude Deuter: 42, and a busybody.
Frank Versati: An elegant gentleman.
Bengamin Cohen: Sickly, thin, asthmatic.
Klinglehoff: An elderly man.
The King of Germany.
